For all the high boost petrol turbo engines in the UK, Ethanol is going to be the best news in 2009.

This not-so new bio friendly fuel allows higher boost pressures as it is more resistant to detonation than petrol and it cools engine internals at the same time.

Quite amazing really that millions of pounds have been spent researching new bio friendly fuels and they now decide to use good old alcohol which has been around much longer than petrol.

Warning do not use this fuel without first checking the compatibility of fuel hose, fuel pump/ pressure regulators and engine mapping.
